Today was pretty cool. Me & Tony watched some BBC iPlayer stuff when we got up, till 2 when he had to go to work. The Dad came home and got a phone call from Roger about a food thing that was going on in Madeley that he couldn't go to but had tickets for.
So we went to his house to pick up the tickets & spend a couple of minutes chatting while I looked out the window to the really cool garden. It has so much wildlife! I was trying to get a pic of a great or blue tit, but they seemed to know which feeder my camera was on and went to the other xp I finally got this cool pic of a Nuthatch. I don't think I've seen one before.
Anyway, then we went to the food thing. It was a mini-festival to try foods of the world for free, and it was laid out crazily. It was off-putting really, but we did try some things, first a pancake, british food of course, then a goat curry from jamica! It was quite hot but good, and goat tastes like beef, I think. At least in a curry. I also tried Scattered Sushi, of course from Japan, it was like a bowl of rice that tasted like sushi, and had different veg & fish in it. I got the recipe for that too and it looks dead simple. I sorta tried some chinese/taiwanese dish, but it wasn't good xd Dad 'tried' some bread pudding...about 3 times! He still reckoned it wasn't as good as his own. And we also had a shortbread (scottish) and got the recipe for that. It was fairly interesting, we really didn't eat as much as it sounds like we did!!
Anyway, here are today pics:

The co-operative Nuthatch

Forgot to take a pic of the other food, so shortbread!
