Today was one of those nonbusy-busy days. I worked in the morning and then dossed on the pc until I had to pick Tony up. We went for a mooch with Ryan down to a place Tony wanted to see cause he'd heard they had a car the same as his, and from there we went to check out a couple of places in Wellington. I got a laser pen to play with (and avoid peoples eyes/cars/helicopters...i know xp) and the others got speakers, so pretty good day.
Ryan dropped a can of drink he just bought and it split, so he made a spraypaint can out of it, which is what is going on there XD
The evening I tried to spend mostly outside cause it was so sunny!

It was a drab day today but me and Dad went out anyway, checking out what the poppy field with the giant poppies was looking like now. Not a flower in sight! We were in a funny mood though and so got some of the seeds and spread them over the road under the hedge, then drove a couple of miles away and put some more there XD Weirdos.

Off around the county again today XD We were with a couple of Dad's maes so Dad was showing them around some of our favourite spots. We went to Arley and had lunch then onto Bewdley and looked around there. It was a really nice day :]

Really busy today, me and dad decided to do the river trip we'd been putting off, from Cressage to Ironbridge. It all went really smoothly too, except for an incident with a fisherman :x The only problem came in when we got back to my car to drive up to Dad and realised I didn't have the keys x.X Luckily I had my phone so Dad could call a friend to come pick us up. So stupid.
Later in the evening when everything was sorted we went to see what we could see of Status Quo, who were playing in Shrewsbury Quarry.
As you can see from my crappy pic, we didn't see too much XD

Me and Dad decided we would both go up the Wrekin today! Dad was pretty tired so I managed to keep up with him mostly XD It kills me to go up but the view is worth it.
We also went through the Needles eye, which people say you must do to call yourself a true Salopian XD It was a little awkward since there is a large rock jammed in it now, it fell there during a small earthquake in the '90s. Dad helped me clamber over it XD

It's Dad's birthday today :] We did presents then went out for the day here and there. We visited the Bratch, Wolves Airport, a couple of villages I've forgotten the name of, an even an abandoned house!

My last full day in NZ today, we went on the other side of the Wanganui River road, all the way exploring this and that and stopping for photos. At the end of the trip we stuck around the house and I fed the sheep some apples as a goodbye treat.

The whole family got to go on a trip this time! We went to do the Taranaki Loop, today we mostly did Route 45.
We stopped at a little beach not long into the drive and explored a cool pier with big waves washing onto it now and then, then went over the beach to check out an old ship wreck! It's been there years. Jen climbed on it and I got some pics, then she took pics as I climbed on it....and promptly got soaked by a huuuge wave, which Jen didn't get pics of! Haha typical.
From there we carried on with the tour and saw loads of things, including those in the pictures below :]

I'm so lazy, I know...
Today me, Dad and Jen went up to Taupo lake, Mum had to work unfortunately. We had a good time exploring all the places we know of and finding a couple of new places like a lake under the mountains.
We found a motel to stay in that was really nice and cheap too =D

Today Me, Dad and Jen went on an explore of the local towns. First we went to Marton, then onto Bulls for lunch, and finally although we were supposed to go to Fielding too I distracted everyone and made us go to Palmy so we could check out the park there! Unfortunately it was half term so no playing on the playground :c

Today I have way too many pics to post up cause we did so much, so I'll split it into two entries to save loading times a little x.-
In the morning Mum had to sleep as she was working the night again, so me, Dad & Jen went out to a local view point and had an explore, trying to see some peacocks we'd only caught a glimpse of. Rush managed to find a really smelly old bone too xd
In the afternoon we all went to Virginia lake today to see what it is like these days, of course it hasn't changed a lot, it's still a well-tended place while a peaceful atmosphere and lots to see. I particularly liked the greenhouse which had a really nice display of lots of tropical species. The bird aviary was also really good (all this is free too!) and i took way too many pictures of interesting birds X3

Today me, Dad and Jen went to Castlecliff beach and walked Rush a bit while Mum was sleeping. We stopped at a couple of other places but unfortunately I've forgotten where now xd I really like the pics I got today anyway :]

Current Mood: calm

Today was a little depressing- it actually seems to show in my photos which are mostly monochrome, weird. I was up at 8 and went with Dad to the bus station to wait for his coach to heathrow, he gets to fly out to singapore today, lucky. The coach came on time and left really quickly, it wasn't too sad luckily. I wandered around town a little but couldn't really think of anything to do, so at home I played on the net then Tony came home from helping Paul andwe cooked a little then he went to work. I had the car then which I'm not very confident in as it's huge, but I wanted to go for a drive to get used to it. I'd heard about this dragon statue over past Atcham so I went there.
It was pretty cool, bigger than I thought it was going to be, but very cold out there so I didn't spend too long before i got back in the car, within a couple of minutes it started to rain! I was thinking of going into Shrewsbury to get some postcards but i wasn't confident enough to manage parking close to town so I went to Wroxeter instead. Which was closed to the public today XD
I went back down the road after a little chat to the guy watching the door in Wroxeter and found some Snowdrops that i thought were a weird shape, so Austin got to come out too :]
The rest of the evening I spend in the sitting room floor in front of the heater making a mess with scrapbook supplies XD

Today I went to Wolves with Dad Aunty betty. We walked through the park and up into town, (checking in at this packed out book shop with hardly any organisation xp) first visiting a collectors shop called Shawns to collect something Dad wanted, and in there were some on card pony things! =D I got some clothes and then we went up town, checking out the manga shop and finding another collectors shop which Dad found some beermats...you can see the grin on his face as he looks through them here XD After a galnce around at a couple of other places we went back via Shawns and I got another Pony thing- a MIB Stable XD Suckered....

Today Dad had sorted a visit out with Sue, a beermat friend of his who owns a kennels. One of the dogs she had recently taken in to help the RSPCA was a St. Bernard, and she had puppies while staying with Sue! The old owner of the mum had neglected her and the sire, who she also owned, so the RSPCA had taken them off her, she'd said the mum def wasn't pregnant though!
So the Dad got rehomed after fattening up a little, and now Sue gets to look after the Mum & pups till they are old enough to be rehomed too, they are only 5 weeks old atm! They have not long opened their eyes and are learning to walk properly, they keep tripping over their feet! they are adorable!

We went on another little tour today with the excuse of dropping off a little present at one of Dad's friends. Th countryside looks really nice but we must be getting used to the snow as it's kinda hard to find anything really nice to take photos of XD
The canals are mostly frozen and have chunks of ice that had floated free now frozen back in XD
