Had a bit to do today, first me and tony had some practice on a new toy we got yesterday, a set of Powerisers! Atm we are just learning to walk, it's pretty difficult XD When Tony had gone to work I went to visit my old friend Phil, she was recently had had a second baby, a little girl called Briseis (Br-sigh-iss). We had an interesting evening chatting and amusing Gabriel :]
I went out to Walford today. Looks like I need to start volunteering before I have chance of a college course. On the way home I saw this cool eagle, there used to be a dragon here in Feb, last time I was here x3
More exploring today, around the Wrekin, which has a little lake at the bottom I didn't know about before and then onto explore some more random lanes and villages x3 I was also testing out an interesting little film camera I got at Bridgnorth the other day, it takes 110 film (which was a sod to find) and I think I'm gonna have even more trouble looking for someone to develop it.
Went for a mooch about with Dad today to various places, Albrighton was really nice actually, for somewhere so local I'd not realised xp We then went onto Wolves for a quick look at the canal. Wasn't really in the mood for walking today.
Off around the county again today XD We were with a couple of Dad's maes so Dad was showing them around some of our favourite spots. We went to Arley and had lunch then onto Bewdley and looked around there. It was a really nice day :]
Me, Dad & Aunty Betty went out exploring today, I had a new camera through the mail I wanted to test out & play with and it was another lovely day so it was all good :] Got more shots of typical Shropshire xp
Again looking for a couple of quick pics before I had to go to work. These are some paua shells Dad brought back from NZ, he is going to shine them up. And a really red poppy that has popped up, I didn't know we had any like this before.
Random day again today. Poor Atlas' ear got stuck down today, but he was pretty good in sitting gerbil-still (so, fidgeting) while I dabbed some water over his ear to try and un-stick it at least. The other is just a doodle :]
Kinda lost for photos today so I mooched through my room. I guess I was pretty tired to think this picture of some of my DVD's was worth putting up -.o
My last full day in NZ today, we went on the other side of the Wanganui River road, all the way exploring this and that and stopping for photos. At the end of the trip we stuck around the house and I fed the sheep some apples as a goodbye treat.
We went for a day trip down to Wellington today, exploring the waterfront and then Te Papa before nipping up into the town and then back to the waterfront :]
We went up the Wanganui river road today, it was a good trip and lovely seeing the views and rain in the valleys. It was a lot longer than we remembered!
Okay, no more detailed descriptions for a while and lets get this thing going. Second half of the Taranaki Loop. Oh, I've tried to fix the hover alt's as well, if you like to read those :]
Our last day in Taupo we explored the falls again, we just can't help ourselves XD We spent an hour or so at a honey shop, where they had bees in hives and videos on the process. We left not long after that so we could look at some things on our way back home. First we went to a trout farm which now charges so we didn't go in (cheapskates! XD) and then onto have lunch before heading down the desert road by mistake. I didn't mind, I'd wanted to go that way anyway XD We went up Ruapehu then to find a waterfall and see the view, it was pretty cold and windy but was worth it, the waterfall wasn't the one Dad was originally thinking of but i thought it was pretty awesome X3
We went to Palmerston North again today, to mooch at the shops and a couple of other things locally. The weather wasn't very good again so it wasn't much bother to just be mooching about the shops :] I found one I particularly liked, called Smiggle, which has super cute stationary and stuff x3 They also had a bit of a display of old cars in the centre, although occasionally you'll also see cars like this on the road in NZ, yet I'm not sure I've seen one in the UK.
