Today was a looooong day! We got up at 7.30 and drove all the way to Leeds! I bought day tickets for Leeds festival a few months ago :]
We got there about 11 and walked easily in (unlike Download festival where you wait for an hour or so) and then explored! The stalls were very similar to Download in merch and prices ;d Still, it was expected.
The human carwash was one of the first things we saw when we walked in XD THe entrance was located on the edge of the campsite, so this was near all the tents XD Apparently festival goers should stop stinking XD
We walked around a lot, thoroughly checking the place out, and watched quite a few bands, some that were good and will be worth looking into, others not so much XD We watched Serj Tankian, lead singer of System of a Down, who was on a solo tour, he was pretty good.
Then it got to the band I really wanted to see (and bought the tickets for in the first place) The Libertines! <333 I crushed into the crowd and could see for a while, but foiled myself when i tried to get further and could only see the giant TV screens, unless i held my camera up high. It was still a good show <3
After the Libs we saw Pendulum then had to go home. We got lost a bit (a lot) on the way and eventually got home about 4 x.X Loooooong day indeed!
