Little lost with the photos lately. Today, as I was passing the gerb's cages I saw Dmi & Dini were awake and since it's been awhile since they've been camera-stalked I thought it was time XD
Dini is a beautiful gerb, but being black he is really hard to get good pictures of him, plus he is quite shy so avoids me better than Dmi ;/ I will have to make more effort!

He really is a lovely gerbil. You don't get many that completely black these days, they always seem to end up greyer, or with lots of white patches.

Or ginger :D *why are all the breeders near me only ending up with the Weasley clan?* It's so hard to find just plain old brown gerbils these days *

Yes, I have had a couple with the lots of white patches too, though even 'Dini here is a bit of a cheat- he has a small streak of white on his bottom lip & chin, it hasn't seemed to affect the shade of his black though.
It is getting difficult to find plain agoutis, but round here all the breeders seem to come up with is white gerbils, though so saying I do have two gingers!

Gingers rule, though;) Honestly, if I had the room I'd breed my own I think. Just once, I'd like to.

I know what you mean, I would love to breed just a litter or so and keep the little ones, plus it would be a good experience. I think my Dad wouldn't like me to have more atm though ;p
I would love to see babies if you do get a breeding pair =D
