I know there are so many days missed betwwen the last entry and this one, but I can't find the photos I took for those days >:[ I def got some, like of the fog (you can imagine that was a great pic) that lasted two days over the whole country. So annoying.
Anyway! Today was the day we set off to go on holiday! I finally finished my project last night and so did the last touches to it this morning after waking up early and dragging Tony round the house...we were going to go up town early and get it out the way, but silly us forgot it was Sunday and the shops don't open till 10 ;d Once we did get up and back (all we wanted were some crocs shoes) I said bye to Dad and went over Tony's house to make sure the last of our stuff was sorted and then waited for the minibus to pick us up.
I fell asleep on the way to the airport of course, but Tony woke me up 5 mins before we got there at about 12.
The thing was, after waiting in line to check in, the woman behind the desk was all shifty then after going away and coming back a couple of times said I couldn't go, cause I hold an NZ passport and therefore need a visa, which of course I didn't have.
The rest of the family checked in but Tony, who said he wouldn't go if I couldn't, then we got some basic advice from the Thomson helpdesk to try the Tunisian embassey to get a fast visa, or perhaps try and swap out hol with another to a destination I could go to, once we had it all arraged, she said, we could ring Thompson to change our flight rather than re-booking.
So we had to leave Tony's family who were all sad, and once we'd composed ourselves a bit we headed for the train station, where we got a train back to Wolves (with a half hour wait in Birmingham for timetable reasons or something) then a coach back to Telford. By the time we got back it was about 3.30/4.00 and I rang Dad who was obviously quite surprised as expected ;p
Once we were back we tried ringing the Tunisia embassey but they were closed, so we'll leave it for tomorrow. We then went to Asda and Tony got some JD and I got energy drink to go with my gin x3
It sucks now having been able to go today, I've got a couple more chances but not really positive on their outcomes but overall I'm not too upset, it's no good being too upset about it as there's nothing I can do about it. At least I have Tony with me, if he'd gone too it would've seemed a lot worse.
