We went to Shrews today and had chinese for lunch nomnomnom, once again we ate too much even though their actual chinese food line is decreasing (noticed another one of their usual items is gone, replaced by western food ;c) and went away feeling quite bleh XD I drove round Shrews looking for the info centre, I just wanted to know where it was as I couldn't go in away today as we needed to get home so Tony could go to Pauls. The weather was good but with a bit of chill in the air anyway, so I'll save the walk I planned for a day that's a bit warmer...when I find that info centre. You'd think they'd put it in an obvious place for tourists...well, anyway.
We went home via tescos for a magazine and I dropped Tony off at Pauls, then went to Asda for a couple of bits and bobs which by the time I was finished mooching it was time to pick Tony up again.

And cue the week of hard to get photos....cause the weather has been getting worse again and now I don't have a working car to explore with either (not that i ever am sure where to go Xp). So today I don't really remember what I did, it was pretty bright out...oh, I read outside while Tony polished his bike :3 Yesterday was lovely for reading, today i needed a blanket ;/
On the way home I got today's pic, most the cherry trees are in blossom now and already some of the petals are beggining to fall, it like one of the japanese cartoons ;p Who needs to go to Japan during the spring when we've got the same here in england? ;p

So, today we went to the beach. Well, first we had to fix the mini a bit as the headlights went while I went over a bump last night, turns out both of them blew so I had to buy 2 new ones, and at the same time Ron found and helped Tony fix the problem with the indicators I've been having over the past couple of weeks, some connectors at the front of the mini had rusted like crazy and weren't flowing anymore. So once those were all fixed everything that had been irritating about the mini was fixed and all was running well, so we decided we could go to the beach. We stopped at Tescos before we went and grabbed a snack and some burgers for tea and away we went.
The mini ran really well all the way there, it got a little hot going up the biggest hill on the way and so we used it as a stop off and took a little break before carrying on, going through Barmouth (where the rock shop is still closed, it's not season yet ;/) and onto Portmadog, we arrived at the beach at about 5ish. I went off after about 10 mins chatting with Tony's brother (well standing watching the chat) and got some pics, and then I wanted to drive down the beach a bit to get some better shots, but as Tony wanted a go in the mini I let him drive me over to where I wanted to be, then he drove about the beach for 5 mins till I got my fill of pictures (I took so many of the sun, you'd think there's only so many you can take of a rock and the sun setting next to it, but I got a ton xd)
When we'd had our food we sat around chatting for a while, then went to go at 8 as Pauls kids had to be back to go to sleep as they had school the next day. But some stupid mini decided that it liked the beach so much it wanted to stay. After not being able to bump start it, we eventually rang the AA about 8.30, they got to the mini about 9.30 and decided there was nothing they could do with it about about 10.00. It had to be towed home, we couldn't even sleep in the the car overnight and call them back as they won't come to the same breakdown twice or something, even if they can fix it in the daylight. So Paul had waited with us all that time, but when we were gonna get a tow truck out he left us then as he did need to get home. The tow truck arrived at 11. He began to tow us and didn't seem very happy, but it was late and he was facing a long journey to Telford and back, so when he asked if we may want to borrow a mini-van and drive ourselves home, and then he'd bring the mini back tomorrow on top of a big truck for no charge I said okay. I did feel a little sorry for him, and I do like to try out new cars! XD He seemed happier then and talked to us a bit on the way back to his garage where i signed for the van (so I had insurance) and then we were off.
If took a little getting used to the van, but it was pretty cool. I drove slowly getting used to it then when we got to a town where I was doing 20mph and but then a car came behind me so I sped up to the speed limit so I wouldn't annoy them. Tony said 'I think that looks like a police car...', then the blue lights started flashing XD So I pulled over and after a lot of nervous explaining the policeman got that I was driving a courtesy van (I didn't make a lot of sense, and he finally understood my rubbishy explanation when he asked for a receipt for the car hire and I gave him the paper I had signed back at the garage). He took my license to check, then gave me a breath test, which I think is manatory now, I got zero! Not really strange since I hadn't had any alcohol XD He said to have a safe journey then, and let us go. It was pretty scary being pulled over even though I knew I was okay, it was just making sure everything about the van was okay I suppose!
After that it was a fairly quiet drive home with one break to make sure I didn't fall asleep and we finally got home about 3am. Whee! So, the mini should be back tomorrow, in the mean time I have a very nice van x3

Feeling a little lost today I went out exploring for something to take pictures of once Tony went out with Paul. I seem to have been everywhere I can think of lately, but I came across this view in Ketley, as i parked up to the now dead Dunn Cow. You would think at a dead pub there wouldn't be any hassle but there were loads of people coming in and out, really annoying and took me twice as long to get this lousy pic XD I don't like taking pics randomly sometimes.

Today was lovely and sunny and really warm. I wanted to go out and about but Tony didn't so he stayed at home playing on the xbox while I went to Brosley again, everyone was saying how easy the chip shop was to find so I decided to get out and walk to find it. As it turns out I'd drove past it twice yesterday XD I had a look and took a pic of the Brosley memorial but not the rubble. It was only rubble really and there were 3 polie cars around it and I felt very shifty, so I just looked at it a bit then went on. I travelled along to Newport next where a new B&M store opened. It's okay, about the same as the Wellington one. I got a ton of Red Devil energy drink as Tony wanted some too. I looked in Waitrose but it was exy as hell and didn't have anything interesting. When I came out of Waitrose I had a couple of people admiring the mini! CX Ego trip a bit? I looked for the canal in Newport for a while but couldn't find it (turns out I didn't go far enough down the road) so I headed towards home, stopping near the monument on the outskirts of Newport for a pic. Overall it was a good day, I hope we get some more warm spring days soon :3

Starting to wonder if the snow pictures are getting boring yet? xD So I tried to get something different today, but well, you can see that didn't really work out XD I've been trying to get pictures while I've been out and about but haven't been anywhere of particular interest lately so that hasn't been really successful either!

Little hiatus was enjoyed by all...well, maybe not all, but it was k for me anyway XD I still haven't had a lot to take pics of, but this was such a nice sunset I couldn't resist, there are some nice lights going up around our area though, so I think i'll go take some pics of those next time i feel like braving the freezing out there XD

Not a lot going on here today, and been having trouble taking pics lately too, so I'm gonna give it a sorta hiatus here i think, I'll take pictures if i see them, but i don't feel like forcing it to find pics atm, so I should be back soon as I find some stuff to picture :3 Hopefully it's just winter blues.

Today once we were up Tony rang the Thomson people to see what he could do about getting a late ticket as I said he should go and at least not waste the money he spent, even if it meant he'd have to leave me behind ;p
We tried to get the mini going but it was having some weird problems for a while, loosing power for no reason. It seemed to be fine after a while so we tried going to Hooty's again but it started doing a weird thing once we got on the motorway, so we got off at the first junction and went home, and asked Dad to take us.
So we got there eventually, even if not by my car xp We got this and that at hootys but nothing major.
When we got home Tony rang the hols people again about flights later in the week but there is only a flight tomorrow and sunday, so he decided to go tomorrow and get a week and a half. We will have to get up at 3am in time to get to the airport as the flight is at 7.15!

On 13/2/09 I found these (what I thought to be) long lost pictures! =D They were sitting on a spare 1GB card I had for my camera in my camera bag which when today when I found I had left my 4GB card at home I swapped in, and here were these pics!
These were taken the day Dad, me and Tony went to Cardiff to pick up new carpets for my mini as one of my xmas presents. It was a good day out, though cold. We went to a cafe first when we got there for lunch, then went and got the carpet (I think, from what I can remember) Then we went to the ocean front and walked along it abit. It was quite fun and the sun was setting when we left. I slept on the way home XD

I should also be doing the project thing i was up to...it's nearly done now but needs finishing but i thought this needed doing too as i put it off whenever i can, therefore only updating about once a week x.X I guess at least this way it won't be so noticable when I go on holiday in a couple of weeks, ne? ;p

So...despite forgetting my camera card yesterday, I couldn't live without having one and not being able to take pictures that may arise on the way home so after we'd got up (late of course XD) and had some breakfast we helped pack the stuff from the caravan and then left and went to Morrisons in the town. I grabbed an SD card that was only £5 for 2GB and I also found some new energy drink with 55mg! Yesterday I was proud to have finally found a shop which sells Monster, an energy drink which is 35mg XD Anyway, enough about that little obsession....
From Morrisons we decided to go to the Aberystwyth beach, 5 mins down the road. After getting lost down another road we found our way and were there in no time. We got there about 3, but the sun was already sinking. We explored a shop with a very crafty window display made to lure people in that actually worked, and then we headed to the pier arcade to spend a bunch of 2ps XD we ended up spending a bit more but had fun along the way anyway and got loads of tickets to swap for odd little 'prizes', we got a deck of cards among other things as last night we'd been playing while we were a bit drunk only some of the cards were missing and there were 6 jacks XD
Once we escaped the arcade after a couple of games of air hockey we found ~~swarms~~ flocks of birds outside milling around to roost under the pier, it was really weird. We hid under the arcade roof while they flew over as it sounded like it was raining...only there were no clouds XD
I got some good pics of the sunset and then we set off home, stopping for tea at McDonalds halfway home ;p

Today we got up fairly early and first went to get Tony's bike from the PI. It took half an hour to start just out of being awkward, and I cleaned up my car a little while I waited so we could fit stuff in easily. When we got home I got the sleeping bags out of the attic and then I said bye to Dad and went over Tony's house to pick up the stuff over his house before we left.
It tok a while to get there, about 2 hours? I think. We stopped just past Welshpool for lunch though, so maybe that held us up, since we did stay there for a while.
When we got there is was about 2 or 3, and we'd got lost a couple of times through the local town, and then trying to find the right lane to the caravan park, but anyway we got there in the end!
The park is nice though we didn't explore much, just looked about the caravan then relaxed in the little sitting room till tea was ready. Although there was gonna be a buffet later at the club on site, Tony's mum cooked us all food in case the other food wasn't substantial later.
At 6.30 a firework went off outside, and that sorta signalled everyone to come out of their canavans and see the firework display set for 7.00. It was a nice display with some quite large fireworks, and if was then I realised i'd forgotten the SD card for the camera. The camera can only store 5 pics on itself so I deleted a couple I'd taken earlier to get some firework ones, but typical, isn't it?
The camera needs a special cable to get the pics off it, and since we can't find the cable there are no pics for today ;d
After the display we went to the club and got some drinks and stuff, everything seemed so cheap compared to the PI! XD The buffet started at about 8, and it was proper food after all, and really nice too. If my camera had been happy I'd have taken a pic of the huge salmon they cooked up and put in the centre of the table. The whole house was pic-worthy actually, it's an old monestary and looks like it'd be really creepy to walk in if you were by yourself. The club was located in the basement and all the walls and stuff were stone, weird X3
Anyway, I didn't get too drunk and neither did Tony, we eventually went back to the caravan at about 2 XD

Today I dropped Tony off at work and came home after taking a few pics to meet with Phil on msn. She wasn't on though, so after about an hour of messing about on the nets Tony came home and we went up town cause him mum had said she would go halves with him in a new leather jacket he'd seen. It's pretty cool, it has the red bull logos on it, so instant win really ;p
We did odd shopping in the town, which although was cool was also odd after so much time with very little money, it almost seemed wrong to spend it XD
At work there was a hallow'een party and Tony wanted to try out his jacket so went by bike, while i was ahead in the car. It was about 15mins after I had already been there that Tony got there too, it turns out that not only had the bike not wanted to go and took ages to start by bump starting it up and down the road, but then at the Asda roundabout some car just cut in front of him and he braked to avoid hitting it and the bike went from under him ;d He had to push it all the way to work as it wouldn't start and I drove him home before going back to work myself to deal with the hallow'een party. I got a pumpkin from it, I may be able to get a pic of it at some point ;p
Anyway, luckily Tony wasn't hurt badly considering, though not one sod stopped for him when they could see he had fallen off at the island. He has hurt his hand and it was quite swollen and got a grazed knee and sore arms from landing so hard, and the brand new 125 quid jacket? Luckily it too only got a scratch on the shoulder.

Another day, more pics to take. Woke up late cause we didn't get to sleep till 3 last night even though work fini at one. It's hard to wind down sometimes.
I actually managed to get 3 photos today. We went to currys after we got up cause i wanted to have a look at their cameras, I thought i'd found a really good one but when i checked it's reviews on the intarwebs it wasn't so great after all ;/ So the search contines!

I found it hard to get pictures lately, so todays is quite lame, sorry ;/ I am making a concious effort not to constantly include a certain mini though...if i see another nice mini though, you will prob see pics of that too XD

Compared to yesterday, the weather today was rly nice :3
I'm sick of being stupid and leaving all these post to do on one day, so i'm jus gonna post brief descs with the pics for the next few entries. The prob is, my PC hates Tonys camera which i'm using, or rather, it hates the large file sizes of pics so it tries to freeze and generally runs as slow as poss while i try and put the photos in borders. So then i put of doing it, ad it doesn't ge done...until now, all at once, about 5 entries.

This pic I edited to look like this btw. I just though it looked neat all together, but better than viewing 3 very similar big pictures. This took me quite a while to do though, so don't expect to see it often ;p

Today was awesome just to know there was no work at the end of it! We slept late cause we finished work at 3 (I was vacumming at 2am...what a strange feeling) last night, then dossed watching some Prison Break on TV. When we did move we went to Maplins to get some stereo connection equipment for the mini.
I came home and watched the Simpsons cause they were on early while I did some work to a project, then me and Dad had tea, and filled up on pdding. I did bits and peices on the PC before going over to Tony's house where I did more project and fell asleep cause it was hot XD

We did this and that today after Tony got back from work, going up town to get some random stuff. I can't remember what we did after that, but it was a pretty good day anyway. We had work tonight again which was another big do down banq, but it wasn't too hard as it was just a buffet.

Today I went down the garage about 1.00 to see what was going on after visiting Asda and after eating some lunch Ron came down the garage too to drop off some washing machines (his new business is repairing them to sell on) he still had another to pick up though, which he won off eBay for 99p and was about an hour and a half drive away, and he needed Tony's help with moving it since Tony's mum had had to go home. I was invitied along so i went to see what I could see. I only managed to get one photo along the way and didn't take as while we were at the place as it wasn't very interesting. Once i got home me and dad had spag and chilli con carne for tea, then onto work.
Sorry about my typos, my hands are freezing and so not typing well ;d
