Jul. 21st, 2010 11:02 pmWas in a bit of a picture taking fad with the pets today (when am I not, I know), started off trying to get good pics of the 3 gerb boys but the weather still isn't good enough that I can't use the flash, so they didn't turn out awesome. The degus were happy to have their pics taken though so long as everyone got cornflakes, luckily they live in the conservatory so lighting out there isn't really a problem. I also took a pic of the dragon eggs in case you fancied seeing them XD They are incubating in damp dirt-stuff in plastic tubs, on top of bricks, in heated water, all in a large polystyrene box with a lid...complicated! Some eggs are doing well, others not so much x.X

Jun. 6th, 2010 11:54 pmToday we came back from the caravan to find Spyro had laid a bunch of eggs! Both her and Hugo seemed oblivious to them as we got home though, weirdos.

May. 16th, 2010 01:24 amIn work early again today, been getting a lot of these 3pm start for no particular reason lately.
Spyro laid some eggs today!! We visited their owners to pick up something else and they were surprised too, they hadn't realised she was pregnant! Unfortunately we couldn't keep the eggs this time as we haven't got an incubator (well, we've only just got the dragons!) but maybe we'll try with her next clutch.
