Mar. 31st, 2011 10:54 pmKinda busy today, we went out in the morning and when we came back made thai beef salad (from a recipe at work) omnomnom. Tony had to go to work after lunch and I mooched about the house, I can't really remember much else from today but I obviously gave the degus some cornflakes ;p

Feb. 13th, 2011 03:34 pmNot up to a lot today, I ran about the house to get photos again. Indie is wondering where Dad is, Dad pays so much attention to the degus they're not so keen on me XD

Jan. 23rd, 2011 05:45 pmDad went to check on his caravan yesterday and came home with a fancy coconut birdhouse for the degus, so I put it in their cage today. They were quite wary at first but soon were fighting over who got to go in it next XD
And of course, 3rd day in a row, obligatory BJD photo Xp Today's shows her next to Mosaic for comparison.

Jan. 9th, 2011 09:19 pmToday at first as usual I was a little stuck for pictures, I decided to take the first one before i went out with Tony in the morning XD
When we came home Dad helped me clean out the degus cage, they were in a bit of a mess, but other than running out of sawdust which had to make a run for, it wasn't too difficult to alter their home & switch things around so they seem happy now! They've been up most of the day 'fixing' things :]

Aug. 30th, 2010 12:56 amConsidering today I sat outside for nearly 6 straight hours I still managed to get quite a lot of pics XD It was so sunny today <3
We dragged the degus out the front for them to get some sun, as their run in the back doesn't really see any. We had a barbecue out the font too, sausages to go with our tea then marshmallows for afters, nooom.

Aug. 3rd, 2010 12:20 amJust a couple of the degus for today :] We dragged their cage outside to clean it and they kept climbing onto the top to try & jump into the garden xd we soon put a stop to that. The first pic Indie is just cute up close XD the second shows you their size a bit better :]

Jul. 21st, 2010 11:02 pmWas in a bit of a picture taking fad with the pets today (when am I not, I know), started off trying to get good pics of the 3 gerb boys but the weather still isn't good enough that I can't use the flash, so they didn't turn out awesome. The degus were happy to have their pics taken though so long as everyone got cornflakes, luckily they live in the conservatory so lighting out there isn't really a problem. I also took a pic of the dragon eggs in case you fancied seeing them XD They are incubating in damp dirt-stuff in plastic tubs, on top of bricks, in heated water, all in a large polystyrene box with a lid...complicated! Some eggs are doing well, others not so much x.X

Jul. 15th, 2010 04:50 pmLoads of pet pics today, I was trying to get some good ones of the new boys but it's really difficult indoors. I resorted to using the flash which sucks a bit, but it does kinda show the difference between Jenkins & Coltrane, the weather is still too sucky to take them outside to try there.
And the degus being cute & begging for treats as ever XD

I basically just went and explored some roads where I wanted to know where they came out XD I ended up in Wolves and stopped at the Pets at Home where just on from that I got the pic of the shifty looking factory, there's quite a few of these in Wolves (makes you feel nice & safe xp)

Jun. 13th, 2010 12:12 amToday Tony treated me to lunch at a place we've been meaning to try for ages as we keep hearing about it...nandos! It's right next to the chinese in Shrews though so it was pretty hard to get into Nandos instead of our usual seats at the Dragon King xp
It wasn't too bad at all, but fairly expensive. I'm not sure it'll win over it's local competition, with us anyway xp

May. 29th, 2010 09:20 pmI'm still in May omg. Last night Tony found someone on Facebook selling 4 degu girls + their cage for £50, after a bit of debating I went to see & collect them, the cage is pretty huge & awesome but diiiirty, I've got to clean it out in the next few days.
I'm having a bit of difficulty telling them apart but i'll give it a go!
First up is Dash, then Juno, Indie and lastly Kendrix. I tried coming up with names that made up four or went together as a four, but took me too long and I gave up so just used random names I liked XD
