Me and Dad went out exploring again (but you probably could've guessed that, ne?). We found some really nice places today, even finding the 'mill' we were looking for, which turned out to be a weir of some sort XD Strange how your memory plays tricks on you.
One of Harley first, I did a sort of Postsecret theme with the Pullips to post on flickr.

Really busy today, me and dad decided to do the river trip we'd been putting off, from Cressage to Ironbridge. It all went really smoothly too, except for an incident with a fisherman :x The only problem came in when we got back to my car to drive up to Dad and realised I didn't have the keys x.X Luckily I had my phone so Dad could call a friend to come pick us up. So stupid.
Later in the evening when everything was sorted we went to see what we could see of Status Quo, who were playing in Shrewsbury Quarry.
As you can see from my crappy pic, we didn't see too much XD

Much long tripping later and fun plane rides (I spelt a lot on the second one unfortunately)I was back in the UK!
I waited for my bus then Tony picked me up from Wolves, it was so good to see him! At home he had set up a surprise for me as I'd got him while i was away with an egg hunt XD I had 70+ kinder eggs all set up on the stairs! XD We spent the rest of the day lazing around and chatting :]

Today was harsh, we got up early to drop me off at the airport ;/
I'll admit I cried quite a bit, even after leaving Mum & Jen. Like leaving Wanganui, seeing a family together at Auckland Airport, randomly, and then when I left NZ later in the day. It was a pretty shite day which even the beautiful sunrise and plane trips couldn't distract me from much.

My last full day in NZ today, we went on the other side of the Wanganui River road, all the way exploring this and that and stopping for photos. At the end of the trip we stuck around the house and I fed the sheep some apples as a goodbye treat.

Me, Dad and Jen went canoeing down the Wanganui river today! We did 8km, and didn't take quite as long as we did the first time we tried it XD
Mum, Jen & I went out for tea in the evening too as we couldn't go out yesterday.

Our last day in Taupo we explored the falls again, we just can't help ourselves XD We spent an hour or so at a honey shop, where they had bees in hives and videos on the process.
We left not long after that so we could look at some things on our way back home. First we went to a trout farm which now charges so we didn't go in (cheapskates! XD) and then onto have lunch before heading down the desert road by mistake. I didn't mind, I'd wanted to go that way anyway XD
We went up Ruapehu then to find a waterfall and see the view, it was pretty cold and windy but was worth it, the waterfall wasn't the one Dad was originally thinking of but i thought it was pretty awesome X3

Maccies for breakfast, which in Taupo has a little aeroplane to sit in and eat too X3
I wanted to see a place called Orakei Korako today, another place we've seen before but i think you should see again XD It was really expensive to get in this time though, so it could be the last time we go. It's a natural thing, all caused by the thermal activity of the area. I was a little disappointed in that they closed off one of my favourite areas, a massive cave, but since no one was around me and Jen went down into the cave anyway and mooched at the warm water pool at the bottom, one of only 2 known in the world apparently!
We also had a closer look around Huka falls today, my camera doesn't do it justice i don't think, this thing is huge and so blue.

Today me, Dad and Jen went up to Taupo lake, Mum had to work unfortunately. We had a good time exploring all the places we know of and finding a couple of new places like a lake under the mountains.
We found a motel to stay in that was really nice and cheap too =D

Exploring again. Today we went to both Durie Hill towers to climb and look at the view, grabbed some more ice cream then headed out past Virginia lake to another smaller lake, which we walked around before going to the Basin Reserve gardens. It's really well kept there too and we explored for quite a while.

Today me and dad went down to Ironbridge as the river is really high and so they have put up the flood defences, also the weather was really nice so it was a good excuse to be out x3

Didn't really want to go outside today as i didn't want to get cold XD But when Dad wondered where we could go, I said Ironbridge as we had some stuff to post and we'd seen a special post box there that marks an ironbridge stamp before they send it off....but to be typical the place was closed XD We walked down to the museum but they said there shouldn't even be one there Xp Nevermind, we got a little walk about anyway and then we went onto a couple of other places before going home. All the time while we were in Ironbridge it was snowing lightly, then as we drove about it got really heavy!

Today we didn't get up to much till the evening when me & Dad went to see the christmas lights switched on at Ironbridge, they had a little market as well as quite a few of the local shops staying open.
At 7.30 the lights came on and the fireworks started! They didn't actually last that long but they were really good! The finale was awesome!
Right before we left I bought some cupcakes too xp~ These ones are white choc & raspberry, sundae & gingerbread, sounds good to me x3

Today I went with Dad and our neighbour Garry to Bridgnorth :] We just went for the wander and to get some veg and stuff from the markets, it was fun :] There is a lot of colour is Bridgnorth at the moment too, so I enjoyed taking pics today =d I actually used the little camera too for a change instaed of my phone, so the pics are of a better quality for a change XD

Today me, Dad & Aunty Betty went to Bridgnorth for a bit of a mooch, but it seems all I got were pictures of birds....we didn't even visit the steam trains today which is pretty weird!

We all had the day off today so we went to try out Dad's new boat! We were gonna paddle about in Ironbridge but they had a regatta on! what are the chances? So we went just a little further up river and paddled about to give it a bit more of a test, next time we will definitely be going down river a bit x] It's a lot of fun, but much easier to go down stream than against the current!
The other pic I took while we were over at Andre & Kay's, who I'm pretty sure I'm mentioned before...but if not, well they're some mates Tony made while he worked nights at the factory. We went over their house for a bit of a BBQ and a sit in the nice evening air as they have a balcony xp

Today we went mooching round Shrews. Again it was a really nice day so it seemed a shame to be inside, and so we explored a little, like this monument/thing which was put up last year to commemorate Charles Darwins birth (obviously, you didn't need me to tell you that, it's plainly what it's about ;p)
I also thought mum and Jen might like to see this car, since I was impressed but Tony was like 'urgh', c'mon, how many camo cars have you seen? XD

Today was really sunny :] Dad suggested going out so we did, we got some things from Asda then went to walk around a nearby lake. Next to the lake was this pond thing that was stained red like the whole thing had rust in it, and had had for ages, we went to have a mooch and every thing around the pond that had been dragged out of it was really orange. There is a clay factory over the road and that is the only thing I think could've done that, it was really strange.
Me and Tony went out with his family and some of their friends for tea at the newish chinese restaurant up town, called the dragons den, the place wasn't quite what I expected it to be but the food was noom, it had my favourite- crispy seaweed :p~~~ unfortunately it was a lot more expensive than the one we go to in Shrews, even for an evening meal so I'll probably only go there once more for lunch one day.
