I nipped up town quickly though, and got todays picture along the way.
Now back to work I suppose.

Aug. 20th, 2011 11:09 pmWent out with Dad to Bridgnorth today as we haven't been there for a little while. He showed me a place called Daniel's Mill which I've been wondering where it was for ages x3 It was a really good day actually.

Aug. 14th, 2011 01:32 pmMe & Dad went out to visit one of his beermat friends who owns a kennels today, and on the way we explored a bit of canal with had some interesting shots.

Aug. 8th, 2011 08:13 pmWe loitered around the most of today, at one point the most interesting bit of the day was this green fanta we'd bought some time ago XD It was pretty tasty actually!
In the evening we were invited along to a guy at work's wedding reception. Everything was really nice but we were a little out of place not knowing anyone else really. We stuck around for a few hours though and chatted with each other and our boss who was there too (who luckily we get on with! XD)

Aug. 4th, 2011 02:59 pmWe got up early today to sell Walnuts at the local market. Didn't do very well at first but once the weather picked up and I made a sign for the middle of the path things started to get going! I think we made over $100 in the end!

Jul. 16th, 2011 05:05 pmOur last day in Taupo we explored the falls again, we just can't help ourselves XD We spent an hour or so at a honey shop, where they had bees in hives and videos on the process.
We left not long after that so we could look at some things on our way back home. First we went to a trout farm which now charges so we didn't go in (cheapskates! XD) and then onto have lunch before heading down the desert road by mistake. I didn't mind, I'd wanted to go that way anyway XD
We went up Ruapehu then to find a waterfall and see the view, it was pretty cold and windy but was worth it, the waterfall wasn't the one Dad was originally thinking of but i thought it was pretty awesome X3

Jul. 16th, 2011 04:20 pmMaccies for breakfast, which in Taupo has a little aeroplane to sit in and eat too X3
I wanted to see a place called Orakei Korako today, another place we've seen before but i think you should see again XD It was really expensive to get in this time though, so it could be the last time we go. It's a natural thing, all caused by the thermal activity of the area. I was a little disappointed in that they closed off one of my favourite areas, a massive cave, but since no one was around me and Jen went down into the cave anyway and mooched at the warm water pool at the bottom, one of only 2 known in the world apparently!
We also had a closer look around Huka falls today, my camera doesn't do it justice i don't think, this thing is huge and so blue.

Today me, Dad and Jen went up to Taupo lake, Mum had to work unfortunately. We had a good time exploring all the places we know of and finding a couple of new places like a lake under the mountains.
We found a motel to stay in that was really nice and cheap too =D

Jul. 7th, 2011 04:16 pmToday Me, Dad and Jen went on an explore of the local towns. First we went to Marton, then onto Bulls for lunch, and finally although we were supposed to go to Fielding too I distracted everyone and made us go to Palmy so we could check out the park there! Unfortunately it was half term so no playing on the playground :c

Jul. 6th, 2011 11:10 pmToday I have way too many pics to post up cause we did so much, so I'll split it into two entries to save loading times a little x.-
In the morning Mum had to sleep as she was working the night again, so me, Dad & Jen went out to a local view point and had an explore, trying to see some peacocks we'd only caught a glimpse of. Rush managed to find a really smelly old bone too xd
In the afternoon we all went to Virginia lake today to see what it is like these days, of course it hasn't changed a lot, it's still a well-tended place while a peaceful atmosphere and lots to see. I particularly liked the greenhouse which had a really nice display of lots of tropical species. The bird aviary was also really good (all this is free too!) and i took way too many pictures of interesting birds X3

Dec. 25th, 2010 09:59 pmChristmas Day? I'm a little late XD I got a little bit sick, but I'm feeling a little better now, so here we are :]
We got up fairly early actually and when everyone settled down we opened our presents x3 I got spoilt, silly Dad & Tony <3
Tony went over to his mums for lunch and me and dad went for a quick drive as it was so sunny and snowy too! We got some really nice pictures too, so that's what all todays pictures are. We were over at Nedge hill and Buildwas, and as you can see the river has started to freeze!
The panoramic is the first one I've ever tried with my phone, i was going to put it above the cut today as my main picture but I think it'll screw with people's friends pages so be sure to have a look x3

Dec. 23rd, 2010 05:43 pmWe went on another little tour today with the excuse of dropping off a little present at one of Dad's friends. Th countryside looks really nice but we must be getting used to the snow as it's kinda hard to find anything really nice to take photos of XD
The canals are mostly frozen and have chunks of ice that had floated free now frozen back in XD

Dec. 8th, 2010 03:33 pmI had lots of work to do today, I went into work at 11, and snapped this pic on the way in. I tried to get a better one later on, but this looked quite nice when I looked back at it with it's frostyness & blue sky, and it actually seemed better than the other I took. So there you go.

Dec. 5th, 2010 07:33 pmI spent all day at work today after staying the night in the cloakroom (lolz boring story) and I was on the late x.X Still, it was a pretty dead night after the busy lunch and I got to mostly hang around.
I got this pic pretty late on, it was really foggy towards the night after a crisp day.

Dec. 3rd, 2010 11:04 pmToday i got up early to go with Dad on a walk :] I know! I really wanted to take some photos now my camera is back and there's still snow around, especially as I'm really busy over the weekend at work ;d
So we walked with Dad's walking group around Halfpenny Green near Wolves, through some fields and really nice scenery. I'm not sure how far we walked but it wasn't tooo far, I still hurt a bit at the end XD We all went in the cafe at the end too and got a really good hot choc with a flake to warm us up xp~
We came back through Badger but then had to go home pretty quick as I had work :] Here's the nice pics ^^

Sep. 5th, 2010 04:47 pmToday I was having trouble getting a pic again. I went shopping with Dad & on the way home noticed some trees turning colour! It took ages last time i was actually looking out for it, but this year it's jumped me *.*

It's a good place for snowdrops at the time of ear, atm it's nice to just wander and watch, but it started to rain after we walked round the lake so we went on our way XD

Jul. 31st, 2010 01:24 amWent with Tony for a long drive today in my car to pick up some wheels he'd bought on ebay. It was quite a nice drive but my car is getting slowly crappier. I didn't really get a chance to take any pics of landmarks or anything else of general interest while we were there was was a shame, but i had to be home in time for work so we were a little rushed. When we got home Tony started playing with his wheels while i got a decent pic for today. Well, it's not too bad, our little peach tree actually managed to grow two and half peaches to edible size!
Oh yeah, I forgot to take pic yesterday :/ Last time I missed a day was April 19th, not too bad.
