Another day where I didn't do much, I can't really remember what I did but i got back from town or something and took these couple of pics so I'd have a picture for today. The one under the cut is Atlas, I really don't understand why he is the only one of the 4 brothers who insists on chewing the wire in this corner. I've been waiting ages to get this pic, today he was a little too absorbed in his chewing x3
Tomorrow I go to Aber, so I hope to get some cool pictures x3

Today was pretty good! I didn't get up to much but with my single night off too it was just a good day x3 First we went to my house and there were the bunch of conkers near the front door, so I went and dropped those off over the park for the kids to find. Of course, I got photos too ;D
We went out then to Halfords for Tony, then I wanted a glance in Tesco. Got us out for a bit anyway XD Soon after i got back home Dad came home from a bike ride and we went up town for tea (McDonalds vouchers ftw). We went and got some pudding from Asda first. Came home and went on the net for a while, then went and had another look up town- I like it up there on late night opening nights cause there is hardly anyone up there XD I got a couple of good sunset photos & got a quote for panoramic printing- £0.79 a photo o0 If I put a pound in a tub everytime I take a pic i should be alright I suppose!

Today was another lovely weathered day, so I went with Dad to say hi to Lesley and we went round where we went the other day, Acton Burnell, followed by the chapel and some driving about for a look about out Shropshire Countryside! Considering we were here only the other day, I still managed to get photos =D First is a family crest for the photo challenge, which I think overrides the one I took the other day at the church, this one is nicer, and of course, family! (which if I'd thought about it I could've tried to be clever and photo ours from the internet XD But I think that would've been a bit cheating ;p) So not really much to say, enjoy the pics :]

Today was busy! I got up about quarter to 10 and me and Dad went out after the postie had been just after 10. We went along to Whittington Castle first, so here's another pic for the photo challenge- 'A castle turret' x3 We went along to Llangollen then and went into the town first and got some Fish & Chips, but the chips were so bad! Aussie 3/10, at best XD The fish was okay, much fresher cokked, but Dad didn't think much of it still. We wandered about and looked at the railway after lunch, there was actually a train in too.
Then we went out to the horseshoe pass but didn't stay up there long, didn't fancy a look in the shop & didn't have anything to feed the sheep. So we went back down and I got a pic of the abbey along the way.
Went back to Llangollen and checked out the market, and the horse-drawn canal barge which we hadn't had a chance to see before, then we got an ice cream and went along to Kynaston caves on the way home as we kept falling asleep in the car so needed a distraction. The cave was cool, even though it was offically blocked off they hadn't done a clever job of it so we had a mooch X3 Then we went up to the viewpoint, the hard way, and got some pics before going back down and then going on home, and we managed to stay awake this time :]

Today was another doss day, I watched a movie at Tonys house and browsed the nets on my phone for a little while, then went over to mine. I had mail- as you can see in my first pic ;3 Dad was busy today papering the spare room/jens old room, well more depapering the room, the paper thats on atm is is stuck on really firmly. Anyway work as usual tonight, the two tours that are in at the moment are alright too, one has a table with two Joans on it! I like that table xp

Today me and Dad went to Wolverhampton. We went pratically everywhere! XD First we went to the canal and had a small walk along it, the day was sunny again so it was really nice and I got a few good pics, like of the railway station that doesn't have a railway anymore, and this butterfly I spent ages creeping up on on a road so it wouldn't fly away & as soon as I got this pic it closed its wings too. It was a really peaceful place too for being in Wolves. We then went and got lunch from Asda and found another part of canal near the viaduct to eat by in the sun :3 We went to the town then get some jobs done and look in a couple of random shops. Forbidden Planet doesn't sell 3 manga for £15 anymore, and they've downsized what they've got ;C
We went to the West Park after going to get ice cream and look about the market. I had to eat 2 dream ice creams...so ill XD I got a couple of pics of a squirrel, but they weren't very good, you'll have to see a pic some other day XD Today mine all blurred for some reason. The strange flower was in the greenhouse, it's a cactus flower of some sort.
We left Wolves then and went home, but stopped to go find the abandoned observatory Dad knows of. It was cool to see, but my camera didn't get any good pics of it cause it was very overgrown cause of the time of year, so I'll go back in winter and see what it's like then x3 I still can't find any info about it on the internet, but I want to know why they just left it!
At home I sat outside a while and read then we had tea and nets is in order for the rest of the night i think :]

Dad and me went shopping today at Farmfoods and got more than we pobably needed, as usual XD I don't think we were up to much else today, just about the house, so I got a pic of the new oak all wired up too. I news to read into it again I think, I don't remember how long it has to be left :x work tonight, starting early & gonna be busy cause we have 2 tours in and a couple of kid footie teams in still.

Couldn't find much for pic taking today, so got these pics when I got home, the first, this marigold has been growing there for a while, it looks so alone! The strange part is Gary parks there everyday, and I back over that place to park myself, yet it is still there! Resiliant little flower.
Anyway, when I got home after taking this pic I was browsing crap on the netty and Dad said he was going to the postbox, via a bunch of cherry trees ;p So off Cherry hunting we went! We must've visited 5 or 6 tress, and eaten loads, right before tea too XD Ah well, while they're in season!

Today was pretty uneventful, especially compared to yesterday, where I didn't do much but got loads of pics. I took a pic of this orange lily today, right before work and it looked even brighter xd You're kinda lucky I have a bit of restraint cause these flowers are so lovely, I've already got loads of pics of them on my camera xp
When I came home from work I found all these cherries on the bench, so me and dad ate some noooom Xp

Today me and Dad went shopping. First we went to Iceland and then onto Asda, it took nearly all afternoon!We got loads of stuff from iceland but just stuff we thought we needed from asda. No more shopping is gonna be needed for a while anyway!
When we got home we had tea and this Robin was sitting outside while we did the dishes. I scared it off opening the door by mistake and had to wait ages for it to come back so I could get this pic. So I didn't bother it again though this was taken through the window, so excuse the bad colouring x3

Didn't do a lot during the day today, I got into Viva Pinata on the DS mostly ;p it's strangely addictive. This evening though Dad took me and Tony out to the Cuckoo Oak pub for a meal as 21st present sort of thing :3 We all really enjoyed our meals, one of the best at that pub :3 Also, strangely enough, the table we chose without realising was number 21!

Today me and dad went to Shrewsbury for a nose about. Even though we visit there fairly often, there is usually something new to see X3
Today we went from the abbey, up town and i looked in sohos for a new hoodie, then along to the bus station via some other shops, then to one of the bridges and generally just just had a wlak round the whole town ending at the castle. About the only place we didn't go was the quarry ;p

I'm not sure if those are the correct lyrics as I couldn't actually find them on google, but it's k.
Today I got up early and me and Dad went to Barmouth beach =D We left the house about 9.00, and got there at 11.05, pretty much exactly 2 hours :3
We thought it may be misty when we got there but it wasn't which was nice, only the sun was hidden by some thin clouds too, it was still warm enough though.
First we were hungry so we went and got a hot dog and burger for lunch at the shop on the front, then after eating those we walked down to the 'pier', the piece of concrete with steps that is good for crabbing from, to check that the tide was high enough so we may catch some crabs. There were no other crabbers there, only fishermen (who mysteriously never seem to catch anything, not one of them reeled in more than seaweed, yet they still fish there, how odd) anyway we decided it seemed good so we went to buy some bacon from Iceland, then we went back.
When we got back to the pier-thing the tide was going out pretty fast, but we still aimed for the weed and hidey-looking areas to try our luck. Which, as it turned out wasn't that brilliant XD After 15mins or so Dad caught one, and then another that was bigger (and disturbingly had one eye) then after that we kept trying, for over an hour I think and neither of us caught anymore. It wasn't just us though, as the tide dropped and the weed was more accessible from the steps and other concrete, more crabbers came down to play, but I only saw one lot of other people catch any, and they only got two as well, so I suppose either our memories are warped as to how easy crabbing is, or it's just the wrong time of year, or has been a bad year for crab or something. I dunno. When we decided to give up we tipped the two crab back then while we were waiting for the lines to dry, fell asleep on the concrete steps XD
When we woke up, only half an hour or less later, we sat in the freshly emerged sun enjoying the warmth then when we could be bothered to get up we went back to the car for a drink, then along the beachfront for a while for a bit of a walk. We went on the sand and had a quick ame with the waves, then found a 'segment' (because of he victorian splitting the beach with long bits of wood thing? I have no idea what it actually is or called, sorry for the confusion XD) that nobody had been on so we sat there for only a little while before heading back to the car again to pick up our 2p's for the arcade. On the was back we stopped for ice cream at a semi-permenant booth on the side of the path. Kinda icey but still goooood, perfect weather for it after all!
The arcade is a traditional thing of going to Barmouth, and I don't know if it's changed owners or something, but the machines were more rigged than any others I've ever seen, anywhere! You could hardly do anything on any of the machines without losing the 2p's really fast to a dam of them in the machine, or they'd fall on top of other coins no matter how well placed the drop was, it was crazy! Still kinda fun though, as they tend to be XD Just seemed a little unnessessary for them to be so weighted in the arcades' favour so you could hardly get anything back to put back in the machines.
We walked up to look at the shops then, I wanted to get some rock and fudge from the rock shop, but we were too late and they'd closed ;c It seemed a bit f an early close for the time of year, weather and amount of tourist, but nevermind. There wasn't a lot else open, but the shops are never really the interesting thing anyway after you've looked at the rock shop.
At the end of the street we got fish and chips (well, roe and chips for dad xp) for tea at a very busy fish and chip shop, then we went back to the car to eat. It was quite a lot to eat, and there weren't even any seaguls around to help, odd! Usually they're all over people at the sight of them leaving the F&C shop XD
After I had finally finished we walked back down to the pierthing for a last look before we had to go. It was perfect timing for the sunset, which we watched as we sat to enjoy the last of the warmth of the day, and look at the beach and harbour before we left. Once the sun had gone we went back to the car and drove back home, I tried to keep dad awake but didn't do a very good job despite actually managing to stay awake myself, pretty unusual! It took us about 2 hours to get back too, even though we got stuck behind some very slow cars and nervous drivers.

Mooooonday. Today Tony went to work but came home kinda early at 1.30. I'd been on the comp till then so when he got home I filled out the job app. for the Shropshire star then we went to the building to deliver it. Once that was done we went to town to bother the agencies again. Quite a few seem to have no work but for skilled people, or people with experience, typical. I got very cranky going in agencies, there is something about them that puts me in a terrible mood.
When we got home i calmed down...in time to go to work, woo. Tea was good today too, caserole (sp) :p
Also, Jenno, where are you? Mum's pics are cool though, it's nice to log into LJ in the morning (and sometimes the evenings after work!) and see a new picture from NZ as well as the ones from Dads' exploratons! :3

Today was pretty cool overall =D I slept in till Tony woke me up when he came home, as he had been into work already, only got to come home early as the car he was going to work on couldn't be put on the ramp today. We went to Tescos after a bit of wondering what to do, and got some lunch, when we came home we ate then we went out with dad after some deciding where to go.
We ended up going to Horsehay cause we haven't been there for some time and although the trains there weren't running we had a walk and general look about. It had been fairly good weather all morning and a couple of hours into the afternoon, but of course nearly as soon as we got out the car it started to rain XD We only had a look about for about 1/2 an hour, but it was enough to feel at least i'd got out the house :3
When we got home again after a bit of a drive me and Tony went to hang out at his house for a while but we ended up falling asleep XD It was a nice nap though and I soon had to wake up again and go over my house for tea.
Tea was soooo nom! We had trout, and Dad had cooked it really well, i should've taken a pic but I didn't think about it till I'd eaten it ;x
Work was a right pain in the arse, I had continious RS till 10.30, then I still had to do cutlery x.X
Also, happy 1st of September! I thought it felt autumny when I woke up, then the weather person on the TV said themselves it was pretty much the beginning of autumn, so much for summer ;p

Today I went out with Dad and Jen to Pistyll Rhaeadr falls, obviously in Wales. When we got there we looked at the falls and took the obligatory pictures at the bottom then we went back to the car for lunch. After lunch we trekked up to the top of the falls, it was hard as usual, but after a few shortcuts and a lot of breathing trouble we got there, it seemed to take a bit quicker this time than the last time we went, but it was probably just cause I remembered it to be a little worse than it was XD Anyway, we got to the top of the falls, and took pics there too. We claimed the large rock at the top so anyone else who came along had to find somewhere else to sit or look from, Mwahahah! We crossed the stream to look from the other side, then came back after leaning over the edge for a while xp After exploring a while and taking more pics, we lay on the big rock and fell asleep cause the sun was warm after finally coming out XD After a while we woke up and Dad had gone for a walk but he came back a few mins later, we sat around for a while longer, watching the water, enjoying the sun and taking the last of our pics. It turned out to be a really nice day as the weather had come good and we had spent a nice time claiming our own rock on top of the waterfall (which by the way, when we left a couple of people raced to the top of, we'd obviously been keeping it from them xp)

Today we slept in late, went up the shops for some foods then sat back and enjoyed the day...till Tony had to go to work, then his bike broke down, it should be fixable though without too much difficulty. While Tony was at work (after i dropped him off) Me, Jen and Dad went and played pool up Greys Hotel which was good fun as usual =D

Today we went to a place above Liverpool to a Red Squirrel sanctuary. It was right next to a beach too, first when we got there we had lunch in the car then we went walking through the pine forest where the squirrels were supposed to be, but we didn't see any, so we went to the beach, we didn't stay there too long as it was sooooooo windy! Like crazy soooo windy! We got sand blasted on to the beach, then just blown about while we were on the beach itself, we didn't even wanna touch the sand for fear of us killing ourselves with more wind-blasted sand XD We went back up towards the pine forest then, and let the gerbils out onto some more proteced sand so they could see what it was like as they have never seen a beach before. They didn't seem to care an awful lot, but did a fair bit of the stuff out of the sand Xd We went back into the pine forest then and saw some people gathering at a point, so we went and watched too, where there was a little squirrel eating thrown monkey nuts from the floor. I crept quite close to it, but didn't want to go too close in case i spooked it and then all the people watching would be pissed at me XD A dog came over the ridge though after we'd been watching it 5 mins or so, and it scared the squirrel away cause it wanted to chase it! We went round the corner and found another group of people under some trees and there there were 2 squirrels, which we saw and watched for about half an hour as they ran about fetching nuts and burying them, chasing each other and generally just using up energy! X3 One would come up really close and didn't care that you were there unless you moved towards it, so sweet :3

Today I had to get up at 7.30! Dad had to get his car serviced to keep the warrenty so we drove over to where the garage for his car now is, in Stafford. Once we had dropped the car off, we took the loaned car and went to a nearby reserve, on Cannock Chase. There was lots of forest and cause of the time of day it all seemed a little fuggy, like an 80's wedding photo. We walked around looking at the huge oaks and lightning-dead randoms, walked up a hill and watched bees and catepillars and jumped across a stream using stepping stones :3 It was quite different, even though it seemed to be a typical forest. We went into town then and visited the ruined castle, which was up another large hill. The info boards kept me occupied along the way, so I tried not to notice the hill too much ;p Once we got to the castle we had a look round the edge and wandered inside. Because it was on top of a hill I couldn't get a really good pic of it close up, and had to settle for taking half of each side of the front Xp Inside you weren't supposed to climb on the walls, but they'd tiled the second level, so of course me and jen couldn't resist. Jen explored there before i did, and when i went up there i got spooked cause it looked like there were 2 security guards coming up the hill! I didn't spend long up there, but it was cool. We had lunch at asda (mmmmm, sushi! for me anyway ;p) and i spoke to Tony on the phone as he had to go to work. After that we went to look at some Doxey marshes nearby, They were pretty cool but covered in thistles. We saw a really nice family of swans in the stream too, sweet :3 We went back into the town after about an hour of looking about there and wandered into the central park, it was really nicely set out and just good to walk around, obviously though, there were a lot of people there as they had thought the same ;d We looked about there, checking out the aviaries and greenhouses and enjoying the heat of the day (they said it would rain today) and by the time we'd done all that it was about time to go fetch dads car and come home again.
